Alright, so it's time to clear some things up...
I was talking with someone about this site, someone who quickly pointed out to me that it was rather presumptuous to have a "production blog" of a website that may very well be unpopular. Not to mention that it's simply a fansite, so it's not exactly like I'm chronicling the events leading up to the release of a new Hercules movie (though that'd be nice, huh?).
So why have this blog if not to advertise for some big attraction? Simple! It keeps me motivated. A couple days ago, I was feeling as though I hadn't accomplished much, but I took a look at this blog and was able to see a path of progress from quite a while ago until now, so from a personal standpoint, it really helps out.
By using this "chronicle", I can also be introduced to new friends, gather opinions on where I should take the site (three sections of the final product were additions made at someone's request!), and even gather additional resources from contributers. To be clear, I don't presume that I'm creating some revolutionary website, nor do I intend to challenge any other website out there. I'm just here, I'm giving it my all, and I'll let the visitors decide the value of the final product!

Hi, Legend, how goes it? I just wanted to let you know that I found it very presumptuous of THEM to even tell you that. I know that there are Hercules fans out there that once they find your site won't let go! I still go into any Herc sites I can find, most of them are fanfiction sites, but at least Herc's still out there...
I think you are doing a great job on this and can't wait for it to come up...

As always, I appreciate the encouragement! Hearing your opinion really helped me out too, as it was something I had been worrying about. Clearly, I don't want to start out on the wrong foot with a group of people simply because they think I'm egotistical (quite the opposite in fact!).
Things are coming along nicely (although I'll admit to still feeling overwhelmed!), every little bit brings me that much closer...
