I'm pleased to say that the forum is now functional and complete! You guys can't get there yet, as the forum operation is closely tied to the main site, but it's another big step. I've been working on developing the most appropriate theme I could, and I think we've got something that falls in with my mantra of "form and function."
As I'm sure you're aware, a solid forum is a pillar in any major website, so having ours done is a huge step in the right direction. After some finishing touches are done on the design, I'll be posting some screenshots for you to critique.
Right on schedule!
Also, just to update on that figure I was working on, take a look at the gauntlets I just finished up and let me know what you think! Some of the glue is still wet, so ignore that...
Once this guy is finished, I'll put a formula on how to make him up if anyone wants to try making one of their own.

The Light
Alright, so I've committed to fly to San Diego myself this July, so I now have a significant interest in getting this done on time. This site will open in July, one way or another.
As part of final preparations, Sage has set up site specific emails for those of us on them team to check. I check this email multiple times a day, so feel free to send me one over. The emails are:
To contact me,
Xen@legendaryfansite.com
For Sage,
sage@darkclockworkstudios.com
For Jisuse,
jisuse@darkclockworkstudios.com
As before, we are still looking for more team members, so if you happen by this post and feel you could contribute, please send an email to either myself or Sage.
And now for something a bit more Hercules related, I figured I'd share with you a custom 12" figure I'm working on. It's not even close to done, still need to make the boots, pants, and gauntlets, as well as finish putting the designs on the vest, but I think it's coming along nicely. The finished product will be posted on the final website, along with a formula for making one of your own.
What do you think?
Thanks for sticking with us everyone, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Releasing in...?
Alright, I'll admit, this is dangerous territory, but I'm here to give you the release date that we're aiming for.
July 2009, in time for Comic Con San Diego. That'll give us a great outlet to advertise for the site, as Sage is hoping to be present for the convention. I'll be doing my part at this year's Dragon*Con, I've got some specific ideas for that one--ideas that we can share a little closer to that time.
So, how are we going to accomplish this? Well, first of all, Sage and I have been talking and working a lot on the project behind the scenes recently. We're both highly motivated to get this project where it needs to go, and we've made leaps and bounds of progress over the last week.
For starters, we've brought on a new team member. Joining the team is Jisuse, who will be providing graphics for the site. This allows me to focus more on the actual content and allow another talented individual to work on the graphic side. Splitting this load will save an enormous amount of time! Thanks Jisuse!
I've also constructed a flyer that is being posted both in colleges here in Georgia as well as California, so I'm hoping to get a few more team members by way of public advertisement.
As usual, I've got goodies I've been working on, and I'll be providing some cool pictures in the coming weeks of what's going on in the construction site. Thanks to all the faithful readers--we're almost there, just stick with me!
